Ravellenic Blanket

I'm not officially part of any Ravellenic teams, but I thought it would be fun to see what I could accomplish over the course of the games, specifically in terms of my never ending unfinished object pile.
Once Upon a Time blankie
(Yes, there are Legos and pacifiers everywhere in my house. And that is coffee spilled on my MacBook.)
I started this Once There Was a Baby Blanket (originally designed as Emma's blanket from the show Once Upon a Time) at some point last spring, intending it to be for Addy. But, she's been loving on her Aden and Anais blankies, and then it got really hot, so this blanket has been languishing in the UFO pile.

However, my brother and his wife are expecting their second baby in January - couldn't be a better time for a warm and cozy blankie! I think this one is really meant to be theirs, and if I can finish it during the Ravellenic Games, it will be my first baby blanket to actually reach the baby before he's 9 months old. Knit on size 15s in Spud & Chloe Outer, I should be able to knock this out in a couple weeks (of course, this is exactly what I thought when I started it months ago).

That's really pretty yarn. Some day you'll miss those pacifiers and Legos. Enjoy them while they last. Happy Fiber Arts Friday!

I hope you finish that blanket. The yarn looks snuggly.

Don't worry...almost 10 years old and I am still finding my son's legos everywhere!
