A seriously good cup of coffee didn't hurt, either.
It felt good to laugh, knit, chat with some wonderful ladies - who were also kind enough to provide some advice. And, I got an excellent start on my Umbre Lovre.*

I woke up this morning with a fresh perspective, ready to take on the next week. I've said it before and will say it again - knitters are a wonderful community.
Happy Fiber Arts Friday!
*Speaking of Umbre Lovre - the yarn giveaway is still on! See this post for all the details.

I couldn't agree more! Hope your next week is a happy one :)
Amen, Sister!!
I so wish I had a knit group, I really must go and look for one. Right this minute!
Totally agree. We often say at knit night how it is essential for our sanity.
Umbre Lovre looks like a very pretty and fun pattern, and your yarns are gorgeous!
That baby blanket on your last posting is awesome ... wow! I love unique baby blankets.
Oh that just seems like such a nice time... glad you could decompress a little.
I can't wait to see this sweater take shape.
Looking forward to seeing your sweater grow. Those are great colors. I'm so jealous of your fabulous coffee shop. Nothing better than good coffee and knitting.
